Crème or oil beats foam

Foams do not deliver moisture; they actually tend to dry the skin and the aerosol cans they come in are not friendly to the environment. The carbon footprint from making the can and the gas that is released every time it is used is huge.

In contrast, a good shave crème or oil will moisturise and protect your face. We recommend any of the fine glycerine (one of the most versatile and valuable chemical substances known to man) based shave crèmes from Truefitt & Hill or Taylor of Old Bond Street.  The glycerine base is naturally moisturising and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, and the fragrances are refreshingly masculine.
